Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving

Photo By GoogleThis Thanksgiving I will be spending it with my family like every year. I believe it is important for families to come together and celebrate the simple things in life we take for granted. Like family. I know a lot of kids eat dinner alone and are gone most nights with friends. I was never like that, and don’t expect to ever be.

My best friend is my sister, and I am very close to my parents. We eat dinner at home Monday through Thursday and eat out Friday night. Saturdays we sometimes go to the grocery store, or me, mom and Britt go to the mall – or just hang out at home watching a movie together. We go to church every Sunday, drive in the same car, and go out for lunch right after where I make them sit for at least two hours. (I like to talk J) Then we usually see a movie or hang at home.

I know my family is different from most, or maybe a lot like yours – but every one should take advantage of this coming celebration. Don’t make any other plans other than spending Thanksgiving dinner together with your family – talk to your children, enjoy them while you can, and impart on them funny stories from your past. Spend time together, and try not to argue haha. The turkey should do the trick – if you start feeling cranky, eat more!

Celebrate life.

Know that when you give thanks, it multiplies –

When He had taken the seven loaves and given thanks, he broke them and gave them to His disciples to distribute to the people, and they did so. They had a few small fish as well; He gave thanks for them also . . . the people ate and were satisfied. Afterward the disciples picked up seven basketfuls of broken pieces that were left over. About four thousand were present.
